Welcome to Emerson’s Embrace

Hello, and welcome.

If you’ve found your way to this space, chances are your heart is carrying something heavy. Maybe you’ve lost a baby. Maybe someone you love has. Maybe you’re just looking for a little light in the darkness. However you got here, I want you to know this first: You are not alone.

Emerson’s Embrace was born from my own experience with loss—seven pregnancy losses in all, including a second-trimester stillbirth. I know what it’s like to stare at a silent ultrasound screen. To walk out of a hospital with empty arms. To feel invisible in a world that doesn’t know what to say.

This space is for families like mine. For families like yours.

It’s a place to remember the babies the world too often forgets.
It’s a place for comfort, care, and community.
It’s a place to honor grief and give it room to breathe.

I don’t have all the answers. But I do know this: our babies mattered. Our stories matter. And together, we are stronger.

Through this blog, I’ll be sharing pieces of my own journey through loss, parenting after loss, healing, and the sacred space in between. Some posts will be tender. Some might be practical. Some may just be reminders that you’re allowed to grieve, to love, to hope.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for remembering with me.
Thank you for choosing love, even in the aftermath of heartbreak.

With you in grief and hope,
Emilie
