Ways to Care for Yourself
Grief is heavy. Please be gentle with yourself.
Allow yourself to rest, cry, and remember
Avoid comparison—your grief is valid no matter the stage of loss
Create a memorial ritual (light a candle, write a letter, plant a flower)
Ask for help. Let others bring meals or check in
Keep a grief journal—writing helps release what your heart is holding
Supporting a Loved One
If you’re here because someone you love has lost a baby—thank you for showing up.
Here are a few gentle ways to support them:
Say their baby’s name
Listen more than you speak
Don’t try to fix it—just be present
Remember anniversaries and due dates
Send a card or small gift to remind them they’re not forgotten
